• County canvass deadline: November 13, 2026 (10 am; verification of vote count, then certification by local boards). (Md. • State certification deadline: December 3, 2026; certified by the State Board of Canvassers (Maryland State Board of Elections). • Recount request deadline: December 11, 2026 (3 days after state certification) for state offices; free recount available if margin ≤ 0.25% of votes cast for the top two candidates. • Election contest filing deadline: Earlier of 10 days after the challenged act/omission (or when it became known) or 7 days after certification of results (general election).
